• AutoDoubler Internal Compressor™ 1.0 and 1.0.1 to 1.0.2
• CopyDoubler™ and CopyDoubler™ Lite 2.0 through 2.0.3 to CopyDoubler™ 2.0.4

Using This Updater
Update - Click this button to proceed with the updating process. The installed versions will automatically be updated if they can be located. If a particular file cannot be found, you will be prompted for the file’s location. To skip a particular file which may not be installed click the “Skip” button when prompted. To always prompt for file locations, for example, if you have copies installed on multiple disks, hold down the Option key while clicking the “Update” button. After the updating process is finished, select Restart from the Special menu in the Finder to ensure that the latest version of Norton DiskDoubler Pro™ is properly loaded.
Save… - Click this button to save this descriptive text as a SimpleText/TeachText file.
Copy To Clipboard - Click this button to copy this descriptive text to the Clipboard.
Quit - Click this button to Quit without updating any files.
DiskDoubler 4.1 New Features/Changes
• The DiskDoubler application is now accelerated for Power Macintosh; it is 100% “native.” The most noticeable increase in speed is while compressing using any of the DD methods. As before, expansion speed is limited primarily by the speed of the hard disk.
• Automatic launching and recompression of compressed files has been added back into the product (System 7 only). See the accompanying DiskDoubler Read Me file for a description of the feature.
• A new feature has been added to provide better control for System 7 drag and drop. To use this feature, hold down the Shift or Control keys when dragging any selection of files or folders onto the DiskDoubler application icon. See the accompanying DiskDoubler Read Me for a complete description of the feature.
• Fixed a bug which could cause a crash when expanding files on the Centris/Quadra 660AV or 840AV.
• Fixed a bug in DiskDoubler archives which could result in AD 1 or AD 2 format files which could not be interpreted correctly by AutoDoubler, but could still be properly expanded with DiskDoubler or DD Expand.
• Several other minor and mostly cosmetic bugs have been fixed.
AutoDoubler 2.0.4 New Features/Changes
• AutoDoubler is now accelerated for Power Maciontosh when compressing or expanding data.
• A few other minor and mostly cosmetic bugs have been fixed.
AutoDoubler Internal Compressor 1.0.2 Changes
• Power Macintosh applications cannot be internally compressed because they may not work properly.
CopyDoubler 2.0.4 New Features/Changes
• The key combination which is used to invoke the CopyDoubler Copy Options dialog was changed from Contol to Option and Command for those users of System 7.5. This change was necessary because the System 7.5 Finder now uses the Control key to create aliases of files instead of copying them. For system versions prior to 7.5, the Control key is still used. If you are unsure of which key(s) to use, open the CopyDoubler control panel and note the correct key(s) at the bottom of the window.
• Support for copying files encrypted with DiskLock™ 3.0 has been added. Items which are encrypted with DiskLock's “FastLock” feature cannot be copied, however.
• Removed personalization.
• A few other minor and mostly cosmetic bugs have been fixed.
Distribution Restrictions
This updater and associated Read Me files may be freely distributed provided they remain in their original state as a DiskDoubler SEA. No portion of this update may be distributed by itself.
